Top 3 things to do in NYC (+honorable mentions)

The Big Apple is a top destination for tourist all around the globe and it’s no surprise to me. Why? Well, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice and it was beautiful to say the least. From being the city in the US with the most songs and having millions of movies filmed there it inspires the American Dream. So that’s why here is my top 5 list of places to visit

  1. Empire State Building Experience

No visit to New York City would be complete without a stop at this masterpiece of Art Deco design, and perhaps the most famous office building in the world. Opens daily from 8am to 2am.

      2. Statue of Liberty

A stirring symbol of freedom, the Statue of Liberty has been a beacon in New York Harbor since 1886. A gift from the people of France, the Statue was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel. Box office opens daily from 7:45am to 4:30pm.
Boats departs every 30-45 minutes. First boat departs at 8:30am from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day and 9:30am the rest of the year.

      3.  9/11 Memorial

The 9/11 Memorial honors the thousands of people killed in the attacks on September 11, 2001 and those who died in the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. Experience a powerful reminder of the loss of life that occurred at the twin reflecting pools, each nearly an acre in size. They feature the largest man-made waterfalls in North America and are inscribed with the names of the nearly 3,000 victims. Opens daily from 7:30am to 9pm.

Honorable Mentions

Don’t forget to visit amazing museums like The American Museum of Natural History or The Metropolitan Museum of Art and obviously major city hotspots  such as Time Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and World Trade Center.

#ootd First Spring Outfit

look-2-finish-jpg-tots

Looking for inspiration to start this season? Here I have my first Spring outfit guys! (All from Charlotte Russe). This season is all about rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth, that’s why a floral pattern is the best way to go. This lovely tenue is perfect for enjoying nature and  the weather outside. This floral romper is the definition of chic, with a navy blue and pink blush, matched with beautiful heels and a blush faux fur bag (Which I love!). It’s spring time so the sun is shining pretty bright, therefore sunglasses are very important and this ones are so cute and super cheap. And lastly this gorgeous blush earnings bring the whole outfit together and I love it! To shop for any items of this look the links are below:

Movie of the week: The light between oceans

IMG_1418.JPG

Oh my God! This movie was so good, for real. It has an amazing plot that breaks your heart into a million pieces and keeps you at the edge of your seat from beginning to end. It has phenomenal acting and an extraordinary cast including Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Rachel Weisz, and many more.

The story is about a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia who raise a baby they rescue from a drifting rowing boat.

And my favorite quote: “You only have to forgive once. To resent, you have to do it all day, every day. You have to keep remembering all the bad things.”

#ootd (Valentine’s edition)

Untitl.jpg

Hi my loves! Here I’ve put together a sexy outfit for this day, perfect from having dinner with the bae to going partying at night or even to just feel sexy on this day and show your ex what he’s missing, cuz what’s wrong with being flirty and confident? And this is just perfect to make you feel that way. A black sexy mini dress with long sleeves and a cut in the tummy, that show the perfect amount of skin, red heels with lace around the ankles to give it a pop of color (plus, red to match the occasion) and to complete this outfit a red basic clutch.
